We here at AeonRO present to the users a unique aspect that Ragnarok Online has never witnessed. Through our unique storyline, races, and events, members are able to roleplay in a fun and challenging environment where everyone contributes to the story. You are given the option to become anything you want to be! Become a brave knight, or choose the path of a lonely assassin, follow the path of a holy priest, or take up the forge hammer of a blacksmith and create weapons fit for the Gods. Choose any race you want, from everyday human to enigmatic Kelli; we provide a community of creative storytellers for you to integrate your ideas and characters!

In addition to a staff consisting of experienced programmers fluent in C/C++ for custom server work and fixes, HTML, MySQL management, hex editing, and expert debuggers, we have a staff consisting of veteran GMs and RP Moderators comprised of the server’s most experienced and active roleplayers. Members of the said team monitor in-game activity and aid newcomers during their introduction to the server with their outstanding role-playing abilities, aid in character development, and address those who fail to adhere to the rules or roleplay. The RP Team is consistently working to bring new content to the player base and working with you to get your ideas to flourish.

AeonRO was co-founded in November of 2003. The two cofounders, Foxy (Casey) and Lamborghini (Dan) are still holding strong and they love what they do. At the end of 2004, Laggy (Dave) came aboard as a GM and within a year was promoted to administrator status due to his hard work efforts and his major contributions to the server as a whole, and serves as the main admin today. In addition, we have many other staff members, both in-game as GMs and on the forums and IRC as moderators, all of whom are very open to helping out new players and driving along the vibrant storyline.

• A dynamic, roleplay enforced world. Whether you are a long-time RPer or just looking to get started in it, AeonRO’s world and community is perfect for anyone interested in the myriad possibilities of roleplay. Stories and intrigues keep our server fresh and alive and offers a chance for everyone to be able to participate. It would even be more accurate to say that we highly encourage character interaction and mingling!
• Custom features in the gameplay. AeonRO boasts a staff that has a wealth of coding experience with eAthena - not just merely scripting but innovative changes to the source of eA itself. Although the core of Ragnarok Online has been preserved, AeonRO lays claim to the custom Prestige Classes, the high-tier Celestial Weapons, and new area upon area complete with new monsters and spawns: the Ascore Ruins, the Seabed Research Facility, the Imperial Palace, and even more. For roleplay, we have dedicated maps for your story telling purposes, items to enhance your character’s look, and other tools at your disposal. • Server stability. We are hosted professionally and downtime is virtually unheard of, only occurring when the staff finds it necessary to update our server. The administrators are quick to address any problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
• A vibrant and friendly environment. More than anything else, AeonRO has thrived due to no small part on a loyal and long-lasting playerbase. We are very enthusiastic about newcomers, including those who have yet to take large strides into roleplay, and are always willing to help people out. We also highly encourage activity in IRC and on the forums so that everyone stays in touch - AeonRO’s staff is always active on these mediums and will address concerns and listen to suggestions from players if they take the effort to bring them up!
• Lifespan. AeonRO is near six years old at the time of this writing and thus surpassing the duration of virtually every private Ragnarok Online server.
