Now all that’s left to do is update AeonRO and start playing. If you’ve just finished installing the files for Aeon and such, as will be the case for most people, you should already have shortcuts in a start menu group called “Aeon Ragnarok Online” and possibly on your desktop, named likewise. If so, run them. If you don’t, then navigate to the directory you installed the files to, then find and run “AeonPatch.exe”. This will open the AeonRO patcher and download any updates that we’ve released since the last time you ran it. Once all the updates are finished, you may click the “Start Game” button in the upper right of the window and it will run the Aeon Client for you to login and start playing.

If there’s a situation in which the Aeon Patcher is unable to download patches, we have a new webpage dedicated to providing access to all patches, listed by their date of release. To access the webpage, visit the Manual Patch Site and log in with your game username and password. You should then be able to download each individual patch and install them to your RO directory. Then skip the patcher by directly running the file named “AeonSakrayClient.exe”.
