Now all that’s left to do is update AeonRO and start playing. If you’ve just finished installing the files for Aeon and such, as will be the case for most people, you should already have shortcuts in a start menu group called “Aeon Ragnarok Online” and possibly on your desktop, named likewise. If so, run them. If you don’t, then navigate to the directory you installed the files to, then find and run “AeonPatch.exe”. This will open the AeonRO patcher and download any updates that we’ve released since the last time you ran it. Once all the updates are finished, you may click the “Start Game” button in the upper right of the window and it will run the Aeon Client for you to login and start playing.

If there’s a situation in which the Aeon Patcher is unable to download patches, there is a thread in the forums that lists all the patches as manual downloads so you can still get updated. In the event of the patcher having errors, you can check the updates thread for manual patches and then skip the patcher by directly running the file named “AeonClient.exe”.
