| Tuar-dde are similar yet different in many ways to their sister race the Elves. Tuar-dde are always tall, their shortest tend to be around six feet while the tallest Tuar-dde ever was 8 feet tall. They have a heart, lungs, and all the organs you would associate with others. Their notable and distinct features are their ears and antennae. Their ears are pointed like an elf, but they also have a pair of antennae sprouting from their head. Their skin is sheet white with either gray, brown, or red colored spots or stripes. Their eyes come in all different sorts of colors, much like their hair, but all shares the characteristic of having a cross shaped pupil. Tuar-dde are well known for their strong legs, and are capable of jumping higher than most other races.
The home of the Tuar-dde is located on an island somewhere close to the Umbala coastline. Many who are not familiar with it tend to consider the island cursed or haunted by spirits angry with Bashan. From the ocean, the island looks like it is surrounded by storms and whirlpools, and so many decide to avoid even approaching the island. This earned it the name “Island of lost souls”. On the island it is a beautiful place. The buildings on the island look old, but the designs are round with angular shapes only there to help support the buildings. The buildings are tall, made of what looks like marble, with large vines hanging off from years and years of growth. Around these buildings, between the small city and the beaches, rest a small forest of palm trees where fruit and such grow. The Tuar-dde speak in telepathy, but only with each other. They cannot communicate telepathically with other races. Instead, they have to learn to speak that race’s language. Tuar-dde are not always gifted speakers, but they are brilliant writers and poets. |
