Elysians And Hellions

Overview
Think of Erg and Eko as a river of energy cycling through your body. Those who use it, manage to focus their Eko so intensely with their 'channel' (be it positive or negative) that they're able to perform these manifestations. Usually, this process can be considered something like bringing ones hands together to form a unity. The individual doesn't maintain this constantly of course, and their manipulation is self-contained.
'Elysians' and 'Hellions' are different than your typical positive or negative energy manipulator because they have something known as an energy pool. Essentially, this lets them act as a battery for others that can manipulate these energies. They are absorbing energy from around them not only when they need it, but at a constant rate, storing it in their bodies to be used by either themselves, or even to lend to others. The fact that they can do this puts their personalities in a static alignment with their particular side of the spectrum, making them either 'good' or 'evil.' This also typically gives them great influence over others, people being drawn in to their auras. (Although, this is not automatic.)
Elysians
Those with a positive static alignment are seen as heavenly beings known as 'Elysians.' Often cases, they tend to be avian-type Aesoptians, but it could just as easily be a human, or elf, or some other race. The technical term for these folks are 'Elysians'- however sometimes the whispers of an archaic term 'angel' is given. Happy people, good feelings, places of positive celebration are all thriving points to these Elysians.
Hellions
Those with a negative static alignment are feared. These 'Hellions' can often be found in the extremest families of Fiends, but just as with Elysians, it could be anyone in the end. People in suffering, places of mourning, and the wake of carnage are all thriving points to the Hellions. Sometimes just as with Elysians, people whisper an age old term for these eaters of misery; 'demons'.
Personality and Lifestyle
Due to the nature of these beings, there are two sides to the rumor mill about them. Some say they are gifts from the Gods (either the 'good' Gods, or the 'bad' Gods.) Some say that they are insane. No one knows for sure. The Gods have never confirmed to either them or the world that they have been sent to carry out some sort of goal. Their influence is not automatic, they must gain influence by living up to their natures.
The occurrence of someone having this ability in the first place is rare enough, there has never been, and shall never be a case where someone is capable of being both aligned with 'positive' and 'negative' energies. This is truly a matter of 'good' and 'evil.' Their magic manifests in conjunction with their personalities. If an Elysian finds themselves wanting to do something with evil intent, they will find themselves unable to perform said task. If a Hellion wants to do something in the name of good, the same thing, they will find themselves unable to complete their goal. Also keep in mind those with psychotic conditions (sadism, masochism, what have you) will not (for example) sustain an Elysian with their joy of being hurt or hurting others. As this is clearly a disease of the mind; it is a tainted 'energy'. One could almost consider it 'food poisoning' in large quantities. Once a character of this type is created, there is no turning back without loss of power.
