A Woman of Skill
Shelphy Waynewright, nee Blanchefleur, was born to nothing, and married into something of slightly better pretense. Her husband, however, impregnated her and abandoned her to surely die at sea. She remained in Alberta, and gave birth to her half-Elvish daughter, Carmella. That is what can be assumed from appearances alone.
Shelphy is much more complex than that. From an early age, she was gifted with the ability to perform beautiful music. Her skills are allocated mainly in the violoncello, but has branched out into other stringed instruments. She is slightly less gifted with non-stringed instruments, mainly horns and other brass, but does have some talent in woodwinds (the flute and oboe). She can often be found performing pieces of her own construction in the Albertan square, with her daughter.
She is a fair-skinned beauty, who appreciates the arts, is also kept busy with other hobbies. Before her husband died, and much earlier in their marriage, they would fence against one-another. Shelphy has since gone on to expand her skill with the rapier after his death, but she does not wield it before Carmella (as it frightens the poor girl to death).
As a last interesting detail for Miss Shelphy, is her secondary profession: research. She knew that music would never get her too far in life, and as a girl, studied botany at school. The focus of her research is in carnivorous plants (Muscipular, Geographer, Man-Eater Flora, and Drosera). There is a result to her years of research that has come to light recently, and it happens to deal with the taming of these fatal flora.
Recently, Shelphy has come to discover her husband (now, ex-husband) is alive and quite well! He re-married and started another family in the Eastern islands, and Shelphy took it upon herself to drop his surname. She works as a secretary for Einlan DiHart, and enjoys her job very much.

The Venus of Alberta
Shelphy is, in short, gorgeous. She has a figure with all the right curves, and in all the right places. Her breasts are plump, large, and well-shaped. Her hips match the width of her torso, and her waist is a proportionally slim shape. She has long, soft, pansy purple hair that curls at the small of her back. Her eyes are a vermilion red in a color, and covered by a pair of red-rimmed glasses. She shares this coloring trait with her precious daughter.
Though Shelphy has a rather obvious feminine figure, she will occasionally be seen in male garments. She will wear a white romantic style, button-down shirt, complete with loose sleeves that gather at the cuff and a flowing collar. Her pants are of high-waist, and tight to her hips with the legs feeding to her heeled boots. While in such costume, Shelphy will tie up her long hair.
Her other garment is much more feminine, and brings more attention to "certain features." She wears a low-collared, ballerina-style, white sundress, with red floral pattern sewn into the bust and a green silk ribbon beneath the bust-line. It has an uneven hem on the skirt, and is worn with heeled, white, sandals. She is usually adorned with a crown of white gardenia flowers, weaved and picked by Carmella.

Erimhe Natarus: A very nice gentleman, who I have encountered on many occasions. We share a common hobby of being a street performer, how quaint.
Azrael/"Papa": I appreciate him very much. We are no-longer courting one another. Perhaps we could remain as friends? Melly regards him like a father.
Einlan/"Feather Bringer": My current employer. I function as his secretary. A rather dashing gentleman, as well. He spoils Melly.
Percival Pollux: A military-gent, who recently employed my navigational services.
Lady Inamoto/"Hikoree": This woman is wonderfully pleasant to be around! Melly needs good people like this in her life more. I will definitely build a stronger relationship with this amazing person. Melly seems to find her fascinating.

A Prodigy of Music
Carmella Waynewright was born without ever having knowledge of who, or what, her father was. All she knows of the world is her mother, and what her mother educates to her. So Melly (as she is so affectionately called) has been educated more-so on music and proper manners, than anything else.
When her small hands were able to hold to the smallest accordion, Shelphy instructed her on it. Recently, Carmella has come about becoming well-versed in both the piccolo and accordion. Shelphy plans to teach the girl oboe basics when she's tall enough to play it. With the assistance of Azrael and a lot of free time, Melly can now speak a good bit of Common language. Though... she's still quite a ways off from speaking properly.
The Spring's Smallest Blossom
Carmella is cute, as a girl her age should be. She has messy spring-green, long hair that seems to be such, no matter how many times it has been groomed. Like her mother, she has vermilion red eyes and fair skin. She's about average-size for a girl her age, and of healthy weight.
Shelphy dresses her daughter in adorable gowns, that she can just not refuse when shown. Carmella has many, many, MANY cute dresses... all of which she will outgrow in the next year or so. The one she is seen in most often is a white play dress, that is laced up in the back. It has puffed sleeves, an ankle-length skirt, stockings, and covered sandals. Shelphy will occasionally tie a pink ribbon in Carmella's hair, so she just looks extra cute.
